Delete your account
In the app
Go to Settings → Delete account. This signs you out on every device and starts deletion of your data.
By email
Write to gm@agentben.money from the email address on your account. We email a 6-digit code to the address on the account; reply with it within 10 minutes.
If you used Hide My Email, the simplest way is to delete in the app (Settings → Delete account). If you signed in with Apple or Google without sharing an email address with Benjamin, delete your account in the app.
What happens
- Your data is deleted within one month of your request.
- A minimal record is kept for one year, then deleted: that the account existed and when it was deleted, the versions of the Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted, your Apple or Google sign-in identifier if you used one, and a record that your connected institutions were disconnected.
- Connected institutions are disconnected at Plaid. If Plaid can't be reached, access is ended on Benjamin's side within 7 days.
